The main message behind our celebrations for Christmas at NISL is that it is a time for giving and sharing. The Student Council, therefore, organizes a charity drive. We also have a crafts circuit where we make different Christmas decorations per child to decorate a dining suite where we all eat a Christmas Dinner together on the evening before the end of term. The students (and parents in fact) wear their fanciest, smartest clothes and thoroughly enjoy a candle-lit evening on school grounds. The Christmas Choir and musicians add a joyful note to the evening. This main celebration evening ends with a whole school performance ‘Alice in Christmasland’. Christmas would not be Christmas without Santa sitting in his grotto for a photograph with each student. Let’s hope we have been good this year so he pays us a visit again!
